A similar thing is happening to me. I just got the following email from Zee&Co after tying to place an order for the Black Ricards last night:
At Zee&Co. we use a third party security system to verify valiidity and history of the credit card used. In the case of your card we have been unable to find any history or confirm the cards valid adress. This could be due to any reason........ due to this we could not process your order. While we would like to do business your card has been flagged as a high security risk. Sorry for any inconvenience.
The card is active, had been used recently, and both my billing and shipping addresses match what's on file with the CC company. I'm not sure what else they are expecting.

Nice captoes Zippy, I like the color fade effect of black to brown.

On another news, two new shoes from Paul Smith:

I really like the Pablos, I just hope it has the same last as the Nash's.

I like the Pablo. I noticed that the brown Miller has that light colored bit of trim on the heel now too.

The PS US online store just put a bunch of cuff links and some other stuff at 75% off.

I ordered my Ricards 2 weeks ago, and still haven't heard from them. I got a confirmation email, but never a tracking. I have tried emailing them twice, but still have not received a response.

so, the more i look around, the more I'm convinced i need a pair of moto-style boots in my rotation.
The PSxTriumph Thunder is right at the top of the list and i really like the kind of reddish version GS has, but can they still be had anywhere? I'll do black if i have to though.

Dave, this won't help at all, but I did see the burgundy-ish Thunder boots at Liberty in London last December so it seems to still be in production since it was from F/W 08. But those Triumph boots arent made during S/S other than deadstock, so you may not be able to get a pair until next F/W

I prefer the Daytona Moto-boot to the Thunder, I know there was a guy on ebay from the East coast that was selling them in black in a decent range of sizes for $300ish brand new buy it now...try searching "Paul Smith Daytona"

Thanks for the info.

I do like the daytona but I was kinda looking away from the lace-up style. I've never really been into slide on boots like that so I figured it may be worth a shot. I'll take another look on ebay and see if i can come up with anything. it's hard finding something in my size though. (except for the ones posted earlier up the page with the union jacks painted on em.)

Alright, I know this has been answered before, but I was wondering if anyone has had the Nash,
Cage, Starr, etc (any of the blake rapid soled PS mainline) resoled. I keep hearing different things and just want to make sure they can be resoled without having to go into a cobbler.

ALSO- anyone know how common projects low court shoe would size compared to paul smith? I wear a UK 7 with paul, so what would i be in the CP? (Sorry its the wrong thread, i know)

Add a stick-on Topy-style sole before the main sole wears out & you're fine.

You can get a Blake construction re-soled, but I believe you will need a cobbler with the specific machine. Google around, there is more info on this baord

I am a little confused, other than bringing the shoe to the cobbler or sending the shoe back to the manufacturer (ie: AE), is there any other way to get shoes resoled? I thought having shoes resoled only has those two options?
