When I left work today at 6 pm, it was 51 degrees and raining. Now, it's a whopping 4 degrees and snowing and blowing, with a windchill of about -11.

Gotta love this state.

Not to mention my girlfriend lives in Indy and they were under Tornado Watch this evening for a while... In January.

Things I miss about Indiana from the East Coast:
-Tornados
-Down-to-earth hicks
-Wide driving lanes
-Foliage
-Meijer

Things I don't miss about Indiana:
-Lack of good taste
-Lack of public transportation

The curves on the highways aren't so well banked here, either.

Oh I thought you were going to mention the John Mellencamp songs on the radio every 20 minutes and the signs in the interstate medians, saying "Do not make U-Turns"

Definitely. Experience with different highway designs builds character and broadens horizons.

I miss the cost of living. Girls were alot easier and easier to impress
There's not as much to do....so I think Hoosiers have alot more sex.

Nice place to raise a family
People are generally not as well educated, cultured as in any major city.
However, mannners, politeness and helping your fellow man seem to at a higher standard than the larger cities in the US.
The Keystone at the Crossing Mall is about the best it gets, which isn't all that.
Hoosiers think the Cheesecake Factory is high end.

It's nothing too impressive. 9 months of the year it's either freezing cold or wayyyyy too damn hot (sometimes in the same week).

Then there's about 6 weeks in the spring where it's great and 6 weeks in the fall when it's great.

This is quite true! lol part of the reason it's tolerable.

I do like this part. Although you still get a lot of areas where the hicks are just racist as hell and, well, hicks.

The DART isn't exactly the best public transportation around.. hah. I agree with the point though.

OP- The best roads are in New Jersey... Traffic circles! (sic)

^^^I often call Delaware the Indiana of the East Coast. I originally moved to Philly when I came out here, but it seems that Indiana in all shapes and forms draws me back.
