The merkin could, of course, be hiding a curtain, sorry, carpet, but what would be the point of that?

This reminds me of an episode of HBO's old show "Dream On". Martin Tupper and his friend (the talk show host) were at a magazine stand and the friend asked the vendor if he carried magazines specializing in shaved women.
In a heavy Indian accent, he replied
"Heads or pu$$ies?"
"Do you have both?"
"Yes, Smoothies.", as he hands over the mag.

I prefer a small runner.
