Trickers size 9 1/2 Mogano Cordovan country boot style "Charles" on w2298 last, size 9 1/2 UK. I purchased these from retrickers on ebay, although I am unable to find any flaws with the exception of uneven stitching on the pull tab. They have been worn about three times total. Light scuff on left toe and light "mottling" characteristic of shell cordovan in the first few months - this texture will go away with conditioning and wear. Both are hardly visible but worth mentioning.
Selling because they don't quite fit into my rotation like I hoped.
General advice is to "size down" one size from Brannock with the 2298, although some prefer only a half size down from Brannock if you prefer a fuller fit or wear thick socks. Please be sure of your fit in w 2298 last before purchasing.
Mogano is a stunning reddish-brown similar to Alden's #4. Given that Tricker's has announced they will not be using this color of shell again, it is unlikely you will see another pair of these for sale.
Asking$425 => $400 + actual shipping cost. Would also consider trading for Tricker's (size 9 1/2 - 10) or Viberg (size 10) boots or oxfords in similar condition.
