This week's challenge is all about seasonal incongruence. Thanks to @Claghorn for the idea!

Could be a tweed suit with a linen tie, summer fabrics in autumnal colors, pastel flannels, etc. or just be weird and wear tweed to the beach on a nice summer day.

I don't have any inspiration pics for this one but you get the idea - feel free to post some inspiration pics to get us going

The cut off will be close to midnight (AEST) on Saturday June 4 and the poll will close on Monday evening.

The winner will need to organise the next challenge within a day of the poll closing. This is very important to keep us on track. If you don't know how to organise/organize the challenge, there are many people here who can help so don't let that dissuade you from entering. I've added some guidelines below:
You need to come up with a theme for the next challenge. This theme is entirely up to you but I'm sure there will be plenty of ideas

Once you do, start a new thread in the Classic Menswear forum with a title like "Friday Challenge <Date> - <Title>".

Make an announcement in the HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014) and WAYWRN: Classic Menswear, Casual Style threads with a link to the challenge.

Just before voting is due to start, edit your thread to include a poll, add in the entries and choose a closing date for the poll.

You can see how the other challenges have been run and pretty much copy the format.

Reach out if you have any questions.

The Nominees:

thread needs pics..
Here's a Winter cashmere tie with Fresco. Seems a shame that such a uniquely textured cloth has to be reserved for Summer.

Growing a beard since winter is coming even though it's 27 C outside are not in congruence with the season.
Neither is the wool tie worn with the khaki suit.

Oh well.

Suit - Belvest in a cotton/silk mix.
Shirt - OCBD from Shirtonomy
Tie - Drake's wool/silk
PS - plain white linen
OTC socs. Should probably have gone sockless today.
Shoes - C&J handgrade dark brown suede

Seasonal incongruence - wool tie with unlined summer weight suit - no beard, however . . .

Polo seersucker SC
Theory cashmere sweater
Cuccinelli moleskin slacks
Ferragamo patent leather shoes

Winter ties with summer fabrics? Why not summer ties with winter fabrics? Tweed and worsted flannel paired with shantung silk.

Fall colors, summer fabrics. Raw silk tie, silk/linen/wool jacket, linen pants. All browns, oranges and tans.

Fall coloured jacket in unlined linen ...

Details on the blog.

Very similar entry to last week, only now with 50% more summer! Cotton madras and hopsack up top, flannel and chocolate suede below.
