***SOLD***
Up for sale is a TOJ0 2013 in a stock size 46 in black/black from the one and only brand. I am selling it because it is unfortunately slightly too big on me.
It is completely brand new and has only ever been tried on briefly indoors. The "house special" black lamb on the sleeves is, of course, "buttery" soft as well.
Don't know what else to say about it since the reputation of the brand's product (can't speak for the owner and his current situation unfortunately) speaks for itself. However, there are some things worth noting:
- This is supposed to be a stock size 46, and when comparing to the John Coppidge tumblr size chart (http://johncoppidge.tumblr.com/toj02013), most of the measurements are within a reasonable margin (I took each measurement multiple times):
Shoulders are a pretty consistent 16.75~16.8".
Chest (pit-to-pit) varies from 19.75~20".
Front body length is 21.75~22". This is unfortunately an entire three-quarters to a half-inch shorter than what it should be according to the size chart.
Sleeves are a pretty consistent 22.4~22.5".
I didn't bother taking the back measurement (but can upon request). Also worth noting is that the pictures with the tape measure are for reference only and not entirely accurate given the lack of tautness in the tape (due to my hands being busy holding my phone). I also took all of these measurements according to how Drew takes them in his "How to Order" page on his tumblr (http://johncoppidge.tumblr.com/howtoorder).
- All pictures were taken with a regular iPhone 5 with natural lighting coming through my bedroom window. Since I had to expose for the jacket's body that was laid out over white paper, the exposures aren't necessarily true to real life with colors appearing lighter than they really are in some of the photos (such as the sleeves looking brownish grey or the body looking navy). Rest assured that the jacket is truly black/black and looks it in person.
- There are some stubborn wrinkles on the front of the jacket, though I don't think it's anything a good ironing or steaming won't get rid of (or so I've been advised). I think that this jacket might've been one of the jackets that was held in storage for a while before having been shipped out (if any of you are familiar with what's been going on in the official TOJ thread), which would explain them.
Also, the first and third buttons (starting from the top) have two small chips in their paint. These can be seen in the pictures provided.
Lastly, as these jackets are unfortunately shipped naked from TOJ (i.e. not inside a plastic bag or anything like that; they're also not folded very well, which is another explanation for the wrinkles) in a cardboard box, there is some lint and hair-like cardboard fibers all over the body of the jacket. This can easily be remedied with a lint roller, and I actually would've done it myself, but I know that some people can be particular about this type of thing and would rather do it themselves. With that said, however, I can give it a good lint rolling for you before shipping it out if you prefer.
---
And with that, I think that I've covered everything about the jacket.
Price is $395 shipped within the continental United States (though I might be willing to set something up with you if non-American). The jacket will be shipped neatly folded in a plastic bag inside a cardboard box.
Alternatively, you can pick the jacket up in person for $380 in San Francisco.
No returns.
If you have any other questions/concerns/requests/etc., feel more than free to PM me. Thanks for reading and cheers!
