I like this show alot more than I should. Watched the first season in 4 days. It's just so over the top and the characters are surprisingly fun. At first glance it seemed horrible with every single character looking like a male model (also, they're supposed to be like 15 or something?), but it managed to surprise. The writing is constantly amusing, if not anything special (it's no Gilmore Girls). Still, I like it. And the costume designer, whoever he or she is, is freaking awesome. Chuck is constantly on some next level shit, but Nate and the rest have some interesting clothes from time to time too. Also, I can't get over the fact that Dan and Jenny's dad is CAPT.SPEIRS. I can't shake the feeling that at some point he'll pull out an thompson and start firing at POWs. EDIT: Also, never been a huge fan of Red Wings, but damn Chuck made them look GOOD.

Charles makes anything look good.

Gossip Girl is my favorite show on TV right now. Only cos Big Love, Breaking Bad and Mad Men are on a sorta break at the moment.

Does anyone else read NY Mag's Daily Intel re-caps of every episode? GENIUS! Almost as great as watching GG.

But one qualm: never being able to wear the J Press scarf that's Chuck's signature scarf. Maybe not...since it seems that not enough people watch GG. Well, at least not enough people in my age group.

I read the recaps on iamchuckbass.com His scarf is something. Was considering purchasing it in lieu of a Burberry one.

Girl, the Daily Intel's recaps are better than I Am Chuck Bass... More NY cattiness, awfulness...etc.

Plus the blog always has minor gossip (usually from Gawker) about the actors.

I just watched this show for the first time last night (ok, like 8 episodes cause I couldn't sleep). Serena

There was some good stuff in the second season. A lot of stupid storylines (Jenny's fashion, Nate and Vanessa, Chuck and Elle, that stupid artist guy, Gabriel), but there is a lot of good (Bart, Cyrus, BlairNateChuck, Georgina). Finish it.

Yeah, weird. Same thing happened to me. I enjoyed the first season alot, but got bored during the second one and stopped watching about halfway.
