Keanu. He's just awful. David Caruso is worse, but doesn't do a lot of movies (he did one with Cage & Samuel Jackson, where Cage was a bodybuilder and Jackson a weepy-eyed cop that was pure schlock).

Marky Mark is one-dimensional, but he plays that one-dimension really well. Same with Kurt. Keanu just blows. Watching an interview he gives is just icing on the cake.

Actually, I pretty much agree with you.
I think both are horrid actors, but they "work" fine if cast in the right role. Keanu was pretty much born to play Bill or Ted (whichever he was), and I thought he was fine in speed. (I hated Matrix, but not really him in particular.) I never saw Lord of War or ConAir, but Cage was certainly fine in Raising Arizona. For that matter, ge was fine in Valley Girl, too.
I'll seriously consider the Pakistan thing. I hear lots of people are actively seeking lawyers there.

That prize must go to Leslie Howard (1893 - 1943) as Ashley Wilkes in “Gone with the Wind” (1939).

Not only was he at age forty-six far too old (but then, he had played Romeo some three years earlier),
he couldn’t be bothered to even attempt a Southern American accent.

Never seen a more wooden performance!

Funny, I thought of Keanu even before I opened your thread. He is the worst. Bar none.

He definitely gets the 2006 Worst Actor award for his performance in Miami Vice. Positively ridiculous

As for Keanu, he (and some of the others listed here) might be the worst amongst established "movie stars", but there are any one of a number of actors who appear in Grade B, straight to video features that make Keanu look like Sir Lawrence Olivier.

I think I'd actually banished that performance from my memory, and gladly.

(Check out Tony Bennett in "The Oscar", he was aptly described as a 5 foot 9 turd in that stinkbomb of a movie--especially when he's in scenes wearing a brown suit)

I have seen this actor in several movies (I haven't paid for any of them), including the other night Matrix which is a piece of teenage/student-fan dreck, and each time I can't believe how wooden and/or hammy his performance is.

Can anyone surpass his badness?

I think I have it: Adam the Suck Sandler.

I second Nick Cage and would like to add horrible John Travolta , R. Downey Jr., and that annoying guy from When Harry met Sally, what the hell is his name? He was also twitching in "Analyze this" .

For an (at one time... any more?) A-list actor, I'd put KR above Cage in badness league.

I honestly tried , but I became afraid that my Plasma might get a burn-in from his performance.

P.S. regarding Mark Walberg, I have to disagree; rent Boogie Nights, great performance hand down.
I would agree that he got lazy and niched by Holywood like many other actors.
