Square Tail or Regular Tail for untucked shirts

Hey guys,

Recently, I've been picking up a lot of Jantzen shirts...looks great...fits great...and cheap price.

Most of my shirts thus far have been square tail with a vent. I plan to wear them untucked to bars and clubs.

I'm curious: What do you think are the advantages of a square tail vs. a regular tail?

Dress shirts should generally be worn tucked-in. Having said that, a regular tail seems to make more sense -- provides more shape, I suppose. Also, if you're planning on wearing them untucked I would recommend a shorter hem length.

imagine what happens to your tucked-in shirt at the back when you sit down... it pulls up and your pants pull down. and that doesn't happen evenly accross the back, the most happens in the middle and the least at teh sides... hence rounded tails for tucked in shirts.
square tails are generally better for untucked (IMO), also cause then you can show off some ass as well (meh, the ladies dig it). also often rounded tail shirts are extra long, have extra buttons on the front, maybe have sewing (gussets?) on the sides... basically I think it makes you look like you dont know that the shirt was meant to be worn with a suit, and with the length sort of makes ou top heavy. just overal mushy.

If you're going custom, I'd do a shortened/shallower version of a regular tail. For some reason a shirt that is mostly a dress shirt style at the top looks totally wrong to me with a square tail. If it has a square tail it should generally have a Hawaiian shirt style collar IMO, or maybe a Ben Sherman style buttondown collar, and short sleeves.
