went past several marshals and winners locations yesterday. they actually have a few random nice items. I mean some of it's gucci and z-zegna, but i saw some corneliani and cucinelli and other stuff. most of it still rather overpriced but at least the stuff's out there. Gucci black turtleneck only $400, same price as a Dior dress shirt, which seems like a steal for a compare at $1000 lol.

^^me too, amazon.ca card is the way to go!

+1, the amazon.ca card charges a rate that's extremely close to what the bank pays. Someone did a big chart on RedFlagDeals and it turns out the rate charged by amazon.ca VISA is amazingly good. I have this card and I'm very happy with it.

How much shopping do you do on amazon? I looked into US credit cards but there is an annual fee which I am not going to pay for. I'm open to hear what you guys are doing now since our dollar is crap. How do you make your purchases that are in US dollars?

I am a very frequent amazon shopper. That said, I *only* use the amazon.ca VISA for foreign currency or Amazon purchases.

There is no downside to applying for this card. Just want until you apply through the amazon.ca website so you get the $20 discount on your next purchase.

I occasionally stop by Marshals/Winners to see if they have anything good. It can be pretty hit or miss, but occasionally they get some decent stuff. I seem to recall seeing an entire rack of Brioni tuxedos once, although they were in weird sizes.

I also frequently see Brooks Brothers stuff there, which is good if you are a BB person. I've bought a couple pairs of BB trousers that were a good deal (with a little tailoring).

Should have posted this question in this thread so here I go: I was recently looking at buying a pair Carmina shoes from Leatherfoot but they don't carry the style I wanted anymore. Do you guys have any recommandations of shoes that I can find in Toronto in that price range (around $500)? I guess there's Allen Edmonds. What about Loding, I know they're cheaper but how do they stack up? Anything else comes to mind?
Thanks.

What is the style you are looking for and do you know your fit/size, or an in person fitting would be needed?
