Which shoe size should I get from Herring shoes?

They don't have a shoe size guide on their site, but I'm pretty certain I sit somewhere between a UK 11 (US 12) and UK 12 (US 13), but I suspect closer to an 11. My foot measurement is exactly 290mm.

Some charts on other sites I've seen say go for a 12 at 292mm and an 11 at 284mm, but others say 12 starts at 296mm and 11 at 288mm, so I was hoping someone in the know on here could tell me something a bit more definitive.

And just to confirm, they don't stock 11.5, otherwise I would have gone for that.

You really should buy shoes from a bricks and mortar shop to establish what fits.

This. I was convinced that I knew my size and what shoes would fit me. Well, fast forward to a shopping session in London, I learned that I just cannot fit certain brands and some that I was not expecting to fit were rather brilliant.

I went ahead and bought the 12s on the rationale that, if I'm at all above the threshold for 11, I should go the next size up.

But like you guys are saying, I will check them out when they get here. How can I determine whether or not they're a correct fit?
