Here is another one with ripple sole. Instead of this makeup but with midnight kudu, either chukka or service boot.

But what about the textured smooth part!

well...I got the textured part.

I can easily submit it again as a separate makeup if that is better. I just figured I would throw a few alternate leathers out rather than a whole other makeup

No problem either way. I don't think we have enough support for either, but hopefully I'm wrong. I was thinking the textured smooth would be interest, non CXL, and an alternative since there's going to be a roughout boot already made this round.

Leather (tongue): Guidi Tan Horsehide
Eyelets: 8 blind eyelets
Sole: Dainite
Comments: partially structured toe, plain toe

I much prefer the almond shaped toe of the 2030 to the 1035 that's currently being restocked. I think a plain toe boot with this leather would look awesome! I love the way the leather evolves, it just looks fantastic worn in.

As a person with a very slim foot, I don't think that I could really enjoy the 110 last as I find most 'workboots' to be a little clunky on my feet. That said, I'm pretty happy to see the model being made at all so 110 or 2030 isn't a deal breaker.

Cheers,

Fok.

Would love a brandy shell service boot!

Anyone got any pics of the Cabourn copper task "in the wild"? All I've seen is studio photos, so I'm wondering just how orange these appear in regular lighting and how versatile they could possibly be.

I dont think thats 2030, not that I have a problem with the last. Its probably the 2040.

The copper task MTO is the exact boot I had MTO last year, antique brass eyelets and all, and regretfully I sold mine. Only thing I would change is putting natural cxl on the tongue to contrast the roughout, as with the boondocker models. Here's a pic of what exactly to expect. I'm down if we're using the copper task roughout. Don't know what is meant by "replacement" unless we're talking about a whole different leather that is similar.

Here's the exact boot to expect from the MTO if we go the copper task roughout route:
