See, I have the opposite problem: I’m ashamed to say I can’t! And I’ve met several of them in person! Haha. oh wellI'm slightly ashamed that I know who's on his IG based on SF past pics
I'm really liking what I see from Corcos' insta. He's still not accepting new clients, right?
I think that’s a tough dilemma for every young tailor as they expand & reach capacity as far as number of clients. That’s why kotaro stopped taking new clients for years. If I recall correctly, in 2018, he wasn’t taking new clients until 2020. I believe that was when it was just him and his wife. Do they raise prices to reduce demand, or do they bring on help (which involves some training) and keep prices the same (or only slightly raise them).I heard that Kotaro has beefed up his team with a few more guys to build the jackets.
When I used him, it used to be just him and his wife.
That might explain some of the variance I’m seeing in his work these days.
Got my length of the LL Prince Tweed earlier this week. Can't wait to give it to Keiichi Satowa and have it made into a regal 2-piece - so happy he agreed to take me on as a client. The cloth just cries out for a drapey English cut.
Did anyone else subscribe to that?
