it's true. i slept through my alarm. i'm glad it happened because i would've gotten there around 8am or so and would've had to wait FOREVER. my friend was there at 6am and was #175th in line. people there at 5am were #120something or whatever. dudes were flying in from the west coast to buy this ****. a guy a few people behind my buddy drove in from Missouri.

in short, i'm glad i didn't go.

CBS is good, but not great. To replicate: Take 1 KBS, 1 Tbsp of Maple Syrup and 1 Glass. Pour syrup in bottom of the glass then add KBS, stir and you now have a homemade version of CBS.

A lot of the store's here sold CBS to early or they where all reserved. Thankfully there is one store who play's fair and doesn't do the whole reservation thing and gives everyone a shot. Waited in line for 30mins and they even gave samples at the door. They sold out in six minutes.

I agree. Did get my bottle. Line ended up being about 20 people for 12 beers. Ditched work and waited an hour and fifteen minutes for the right to pay $25 for a bottle of beer. It better be good.

I have tried several of the higher end beers (KBS, Hopslam, etc.) and so far nothing has blown me away to the point that I would be in line at 4am to go buy a beer. Especially when they limit you to only 1 bottle. No thanks.

Friday is the day here. Only a couple places got it today from a smaller distributor who only had 6 cases to go around.
