I've spent a stupid amount of money and time on visvim in the last two years. I have been a long time fan of the brand and finally dove in head first. I've worn or tried a TON of items so if people have questions feel free to ask, this applies to shirting, outerwear, pants, and footwear. I have since calmed down and am selling off or have already sold off most of my collection to focus on other affairs, but still appreciate the amazing attention to detail and quality of items they put out.

YES, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

I have been wanting to put together a whole sizing compendium for vis for a while.

For stuff like Noragi and Lhamo, I think it works best sized up and worn as a little oversized top layer. Many fits I see I think they are worn too short or too slim, which isn't a good look for that style. Noragi definitely a size up because of the slim arms, Sanjuro TTS because it already fits a size large.

I've updated the OP with stockists and sizing information. Will continually add as thread grows/I see other Vis-related posts on the forum. Feel free to chime in with your sizing, I'd like it to be centralized as one of the most difficult things I've found in other forums is wanting to buy new Vis but not knowing your size and searches come up with very little.

First Visvim flagship just opened in Tokyo, very cool store/location. Has a coffee bar inside, haven't tried it yet.

Sizing info for the pieces I own / have owned that were not mentioned:
Strabler leather jacket: Fairly slim, size up one
Denim artifact coverall: True to size, relaxed fit
Adventura down jackets: Very slim, especially arms, size up for layering, TTS over shirts.
Deckhand jacket: Slim body, especially chest, size up one. Not easy to layer due to amount of insulation.

Do you guys know anyone who has deadstock of the Gris moc?  And how it's sized?  I would assume that it's 1/2 a size down?

Not sure of where there would be deadstock, but I'd keep an eye out on Yahoo Japan and Rakuten. Lots of older stuff pops up at near new or brand new at dirt cheap prices. I've personally purchased lots of Vis off of those sites.

This is awesome. maas and stacks don't have it online, but they carry visvim. They keep it in the back room. No virgils though; they say it's pretty much a Japan exclusive at this point.
Really have to see the product in person to really get it--at least for me. Didn't know that the skagway lows were built on a goodyear welt and then covered with this rubber. So, it basically feels like a dress shoe (has the extra height too). Stuff like that is really cool.

As for sizing. I'm a CP 41 and MMM 42, and an 8D in Alden Barrie. Pretty solid. I've tried on the laramie-folk and skagway lows and I fit the US9.
Rolled the dice with a US9 for the virgils and I'm fairly certain it's the right size. At most, I could go down to a US8.5, but then I suspect they would be pretty painted on and could be uncomfortable. Unsure if they "stretch", since I just got them.

Overall, pretty damn stoked about visvim. Got my feet wet, so to speak, with the virgils and pretty much on the visvim train. Next on the list would be the solid color laramie-folk from aw14...but who knows. Mies coat looks really nice.

Xpost from recent purchases

Btw, anyone know how to get extra laces for the virgils? Mine only came with the leather ones and thought they included the round ones as an alternative.
