It's not too bad with TBS. You'll have to pay for duties but I find that even with duties I got a better deal than with other stores. I actually bought a pair of APC NS black denim a couple weeks back and even with duty I still paid less than what I would from other stores.

I would say get it form Dutil but looks like all those other guys beat me to that. Yeah, for a couple bucks more, might as well go to Dutil and try it on so you get the perfect pair. Wait for Boxing Day if you want it cheaper. I used to live in Van so I really like Dutil myself too.

The only reason I got it at TBS is coz I got it with the 15% winter deal and in Calgary, there's only one place that sells APC and they sell it for about $195.

Meh, it's really the inflated MSRP + HST that kills.

Dutil has a great selection and a helpful staff.

Haha I'm not trying to avoid Dutil, I've bought jeans and supported them on numerous occasions and know that they're a good little store.
I was simply curious about how much TBS duties would be so I have another option open, and gauge for any other future purchases at TBS. Also, with HST the APCs at dutil would amount to around $190 (which is probably why they're priced lower than other stores), and if I can save maybe $30 at another location then I'm gonna do that. I mean this IS the sales alert thread isn't it?

Yeah that's exactly what I'm planning to go for! Actually the funny thing is, dutil had their APCs priced at $195 before. I only noticed they dropped the price when they opened up their online store, so I don't know if their pricing of $168 is permanent

You will get hit with duties from TBS. I bought something for $30 from them and I had to pay like $35 in duties. I'm not a fan of Dutil but the girls that work there are nice.

Got common projects from them with no fees. Most people have said they haven't gotten hit with anything. You may have been unlucky

I've got hit with duties last three times. When you buying from TBS, you should definitely expect duties.

Actually, the only thing I haven't got hit from were CPs also, strangely enough.

I've ordered from TBS four times, packages have always arrived without any duties within three days despite my being in the middle of the US.
