Do online shops just not like making sales? I've e-mailed three places - all fairly well known here and elsewhere - asking a few simple questions. No reply from any of the shops. Do I have to throw my credit card at them?

sadly a lot of places smaller stores find ecommerce a hassle and prefer not to deal with shipping and packing, weird to me because a lot of places in europe that arent ecommerce are happy to sell online to me

My pleasure. Their Hugger fit works far better than Gitman for me, since I have normal size arms for a tall, skinny person. Fabrics are not as exciting, but on sale they're well worth it.
Thanks for the link. Any idea if the stock goes 50% at some point later in season?

Same here. I think Gitman just isn't made for tall, skinny people. A medium was perfect in the shoulders but pulled the tiniest bit in the chest, and the sleeves were just barely too short (not to mention the tent-like waist).

anyone proxying for the salt sale?

I MIGHT be heading out that way - from the last 3 I went to though, the selection is pretty dismal (I think I go in hopes of finding something great). Depends what you are into though.

What are sale prices like? I need a new pair of glasses!

They are usually $60/pair, but at the latest sale they had them for $50/pair, a great price if you find something you like. The shittier/uglier (objectively, trust me) frames are price $25-$30, I believe.
