Leather looks different. the pic has a pebble like leather.. Throught it was suppose to be smooth.

The first W+H boots were a slightly pebbled black leather, 2nd version was the charcoal nubuck.

According to Steven from Dayton, they are the same as W+H service boots minus the abovesaid soak/distress. The come in oiled brown/black leather. Are the recent W+H boots of different leather?

^right on. There's also a distressed brown that is not shown on the website. I order the oiled black, and just called back to add the distressed brown.
