On November 25, 2013, SF held an Emulate Your Sartorial Hero Challenge. SpooPoker choose DerekS and In Stitches as his heros, DerekS choose SpooPoker and In Stitches as his heros, and In Stitches choose SpooPoker and DerekS as his heros. As such, the three gentleman wore pretty much the same outfit: navy sport coat, brown pants, blue/white striped shirt, green tie, brown shoes and green/olive pocket square. So who do you think did it best? Who is the the real hero and who are the sidekicks?

The poll ends on midnight of the 11/21. Get your votes in.

Up first...
SpooPoker

Next..
DerekS

Last, but not least...
In Stitches

It was close, but Spoo's UnSpooWorthy tie knot gave Stichy the edge.

Okay, I am actually going to try to take this moderately seriously.

I like the fabric of Derek's jacket best, but with the cut and finishing of Spoo's. I like Stitchy's shirt pattern and colour but with Spoo's collar roll. I like Stitchy and Derek's tie (same one, right? I am biased towards slubbiness though...) but Stitchy has the best knot of all three, and Spoo is wearing his too short and it looks a bit wrinkled. I like the colour and texture of both Derek and Stitchy's trousers better than Spoo's, and also their turn-ups, but Spoo's have a more pleasing line. I prefer the way Derek has his PS, but I prefer the colours of Stitchy's and then Spoo's.

Overall: normally, I think Spoo looks better than almost anyone here, I think because he's lucky enough (or works hard enough at it) to have a figure that is much easier to dress and he has ridiculous access to fantastic clothes. Derek is solid. However, I think that actually, In Stitches gets closest to the ideal classic fit here. Stitches FTW.
