Ugh, so, once again flip-flopping, perhaps now for the last time...

Master Ultra Thin Moon, or Master Ultra Thin Reserve de Marche. I forgot how much I love the Reserve de Marche. There are aspects I love about the previous version of the RDM, and that I wish were imported into the new one, but I love the asymmetry.

You still have another month to confused yourself with more. Are you still planning to purchase in Philly? Or at least shop there?

I will be going through the Philly AD--they are just offering very excellent price. And I had the chance to see both in person about a week ago when I visited a friend in Houston, and I am just unable to decide right now. I am not opposed to purchasing by phone. I have a couple weeks before the MUT Moon comes in. But the casualness of the MUT RDM really appeals to me. I am worried that the MUT Moon will wear a bit too formal, and it felt a little out of place when dressing more casual. The MUT RDM on a tan ostrich strap would look great methinks.

This is a very real issue, and I would love to see something different on the board

I actually thought the MUT Moon was slightly more casual in person than I had assumed. But I also link size to formality; bigger being less formal to me. It's just something that's in my head.. I've never had much interest in the RDM and have never handled it, so I can't provide an opinion there.

Let me know when you are in Philly; if you need someone to convince you it's a good idea to purchase both I'll be happy to play the role of devil on your shoulder.

i am all for asymmetry, but i would stick with the MUTM of the two. i think it has a nicer look imo.

If you want a watch to work with casual outfits, go for something a bit more chunky, such as the lovely Master Chrono that was just posted

The timing of tonight's honey glazed Valentine's duck was handled by JLC Master Chrono

Hoping the duck is cooked perfectly as a result of that fantastic chronograph...and some culinary skills never hurt either.

Alas, I already have a Chrono in the form of the Speedy Pro. As much as I love Chronos, I want just a bit more variety :). Being able to dress the watch I buy down at the end of the day is not really much of a priority to me though! More of a plus, than anything!
