Next will be a BP, but it probably wont be until nearly years end.

Currently wearing:

When it gets any warmer at all I'll have to switch to the bracelet.

In the past I've owned...

I actually just talked to a watch buyer and apparently there is going to be some new Explorer II thing that comes out of Basel.

I think the only Rolex I'd want at this point is the Milgauss.

There's no watch in the current Rolex line-up that I'd want to own. But if I could find a 1655 (Explorer II orange hand) at a decent price, I could certainly get tempted

Sorry it's not. The original statement is perfectly supported by Rolex's new versions of historical models issued in the past 3 or 4 years. kermit sub, milgauss green crystal, panther daytona, etc...

That was my plain stupid $0.02

granted there are a lot of uglified watches recently presented, but they're an expansion of a line. the regular sub didn't stop existing because of the green sub. the lepard daytona didn't replace the plain ss one. explorer ii didn't die when the ceramic came out...

everyone makes an ugly once in a while, show me any brand you admire and i'll find you a fully diamond encrusted watch by them. they all do it.

Nobody said it was exclusive to Rolex but they're not immune to the uglification trend. That's all.

Thanks LK. Very nice Omega.

My Omega collection has tended to focus on gold automatics. However, if I do buy another it's going to be a hand wind. I'd like to find a nice 30T2 chronometer in good original condition.
