Spotted out and about shopping, license must have been taken up by the Taiwanese if the label on the box is anything to go by.

Not Taiwanese mate. The words are in simplified Chinese so Mainland Chinese.

Initially neglected to include the above photo showing they were made in Taiwan.

As a Canadian I still have a few pairs of my father’s Dack’s in the rotation and going strong, thought fellow Canadians might be interested to see what the brand name is being stuck on these days is all.

Obviously numerous busted Western brands are licensed / repackaged out here (MG. et al), this one struck me as a little obscure.

It might say Taiwan, but do you trust a company in Guangdong?. This is some company in Guangzhou, PRC, with their address and phone number. Which bares out what Chowkin posted "The words are in simplified Chinese so Mainland Chinese."
