O
Nick is there going to be a number of basic items that will be available all year to purchase through the many retailers?
Thinking about grey wool trousers, blue blazer, tan chinos, white and blue button down shirts, etc.

Outside of shirting, I don't really believe in year round fabrics. Most people eat seasonally these days, I think you should dress seasonally as well.

I would venture to think there would be some pieces that are year round but I know you have done 2 variations of the blue blazer in a donegal this season and a hopsack last season.

No harm in asking right?

@NickPollica

Can you just speak a little to how the changes in the Tipo have tended to affect the fit of the jacket, especially if last year's fit you perfectly? Others who have both can weigh in too.

Thanks

There has been no change whatsoever to the Tipo. Different fabrics tailor differently, drape differently, etc. There is also a 1cm +/- tolerance on all measurements for our garments as well so some individual jackets may feel a tad more snug or loose in some places but we haven't changed the Tipo since it has worked so well.

What we did tweak was the shoulder on the tenero as the width across the sleeve head was far too tight. We gave it a much fuller sleeve head which made a huge difference in comfort and our sales of that model have sky rocketed this season because of it.

Some nice mid-season drops have started showing up this weekend in a few different places. Could you tell us a bit more about the "washed cashmere" jackets that Haberdash is carrying?

Could someone compare the Lorenzo cut to the Tipo? Particularly in regards to width of the sleeve head? I have a Tipo from SS14 and it fits perfectly, but all of the Teneros I tried on recently are a bit too tight in the sleeve head, creating some pretty unsightly shoulder creasing.

I love some of the jackets/suits at NMWA, but I'd like to be sure the sleeves are wide enough before I make any purchases.

Tipo is generally slimmer than the Lorenzo, so I think you should have plenty of room in the sleevehead on the Lorenzo.

Heading up to NYC this weekend for a family wedding (wearing my navy Lorenzo suit :slayer:). Which Bloomingdales has a better Eidos stock?

We are also doing it with Greg again as a special project!

Great news --- any idea when, roughly, the delivery time would be on this? i.e. would it be early enough that it would still be usable this fall/winter?

So it occurred to me that some of you guys don't follow our thread (you really should! ;p) but we launched the Eidos Field Coat special project yesterday. Orders close on Friday (but some fabrics are running out fast). Info and order links here :
