probably could swing it, but there are not many polos available, like 2 in each size in each colour. I can ask her to check whats available etc. What size are you?

Navy XL is what caught my eye.

Here's a picture of me in a 36R, my normal size. Don't take this photo to heart because it doesn't really do the jacket justice. At the end of the day it's probably not the right cut for me, but I still think plenty of others will like it a lot. Not sure about S and L sizes. Greg will have to answer that one.
Looks a bit short on you for sure but for an off the rack jacket with no alterations you are almost there. In RTW I would probably size you up and alter down taking in the waist and slimming the sleeve.
Thanks for that shot. You can see what Greg means by a bit more swell in the chest (cf. pics you posted of yourself in the Tipo cut). Something's going on with the waist though again, I know this is a single shot, and nothing beats trying the coat on for oneself. Your caution on drawing too many conclusions is well taken. That fabric is just lovely and reminds me of Greg's Formosa in a similar pattern. While this isn't a full length shot, is the coat a touch short? It just might make the fork of the trousers which is one way of seeing if it covers the rear. Anyway, the check and the donegal are real winners. Thanks again for the posts.
The Lorenzo is a shorter coat than the tipo coming in at 74.5cm (or 75cm i cant remember right now) vs. 76cm on a 50.
@NickPollica: Did any retailers buy the orange hunting jacket or green donegal sportscoat?

We sold them both. The orange casentino maremanna can be found at A.K. Rikks in Grand Rapids, MI, although they only have 3 or 4 and when they are gone, they are gone. Have to check on the sc.

Just wanted to say thanks to this thread, I'm the proud new owner of a navy chalk stripe suit that I picked up from Bloomingdale's in SF. Picking it up later this week, and there was only one sportcoat left in a 50R but the price was like $205 with all of the discounts they are offering.

We just measured everything this morning when we put up online our first sport coats. The 50R measures to 76.5 back length from bottom of collar.

Was in SF for the USC-Stanford game this past weekend and had a chance to finally stop into Bloomingdale's to try on some Eidos gear. Blown away by how well a 36R fit me OTR. Not sure which of the cuts they were, but this will most definitely be my next tailored clothing purchase. They had a few outerwear pieces as well (which others have noted) that looked great - especially this flecked wool coat. Beautiful.

Glad to have nailed my size down so I can make a move next time I see something online.

Everything at Bloomingdales is in the Tipo cut, except for the outerwear which I believe some pieces are in the Lorenzo.

Congratulations! The jacket and how it fits will gain you priority admission to the next Pitti Freak Show. Careful not to ruin your look by wearing socks with your double monks.

Glad to hear that I'll have priority admission - the lines at Pitti are so long these days.

I understand that there are shorter lines for those who conform to a more classic
sense of style.
