Online sources for aftermarket wheels & experiences

I have been rummaging around for a while while mulling over this... what are the places that you have used so far for aftermarket wheels or wheel & tyre packages?
I have gone through Discount Tyre/tires.com, Tirerack, Wheelsnext.com, Edgeracing, and similar places I have found from auto fora...
What other online places have you used or have heard of that have good deals and are reliable?

I got mine through http://www.machiii.net/ around 3 or 4 years ago. I Purchased some Rota Subzeros with Toyo T1-S's. Free shipping, good prices, included lug nuts. They sell more for the tuner crowd though with Rota, Volk, Advan, etc. A lot of companies don't carry Toyo which is the only summer tire I buy. 1010Tires www.1010tires.com is another big company, based in Canada I believe.

Thanks! Wow, they have Beatrush parts. That would suck if they have the underpanel I recently bought for less... P.s. those Rota are very nice.

Thanks, love my wheels. I just put them back on after taking my winter steelies off. That is my sign that Spring has finally arrived. Yeah they tend to fly under the radar compared to the big boys like tirerack etc which means that they tend to carry more specialized parts. Some people probably write them off because of their pretty crappy website design but they are pretty well known in the Subaru/Nissan/Miata communities.

Are the 16x7 Subzero really 14.5 lbs each? Damn. That is several lbs less than my stock wheels. Mmmm, bronze Rota... So they also sell tyres? I don't see them listed anywhere.

Nevermind, that awful font they use makes it hard to read the text... I now just need to put together the cash. Maybe in two-three months.

Yeah haha, I really should contact them about doing a website redo for them. Maybe put a proposal together. The dark hard to read look just isn't in. As for the subzero's they are great, very lightweight, have a good finish, and are strong too because of the type of casting system they use which removes imperfections that traditional cast wheels don't. In fact the tires will probably weigh more than the wheels. I have the 16x7" steel grey matched with the toyos. The colors are typically a bit darker than shown, mine are actually bit lighter than the gunmetal. The bronze is very popular too, good choice. I hate the waiting for things part, especially when you know what you want

Putting those on will reduce unsprung weight by a few lbs per wheel. Not bad, especially with torqueless "peaky" engines like mine.
But you're right, even the Falken Ziex 512 I have now which are lightweight as far as inexpensive tyres go weigh a few lbs more than these Rota!

In any case,US$927 or so shipped is a good price for the package

I second the TireRack.
SubyDude is a reliable supplier of Rota wheels. Search e-bay for best prices.

I've also used Discount tire (ok) and was very pleased with tiresbyweb.com

I bought my Panasports (16x7) from Moss Motors, or specifically their Miata branch: www.miatamania.com. No complaints.

Kind of generic, but I'd get HREs.

HRE makes some great looking wheels, what car are they on?

I've used TireRack, EdgeRacing, SubyDude, DiscountTire, and a few other smaller shops that carry specialty items for Subaru's... I just go wherever I get the best deal on the tire I want, and I've had no issues with any vendor.

I ran Rota Tarmac II's on my last car, and they were fine. I wouldn't run a non-forged wheel these days, but if you are just going for looks and value, you can't beat their price.

Depends on the car you have though, HRE's cost more than my car and their offsets don't fit a large number of vehicles.

I bought centercaps from Subydude back when the ones that came with Rotas were absolutely hideous. I know some other people that have bought wheels from Subydude with good results. When I got my Rotas the local Discount Tire actually beat the best online price that I could find. I've had good results buying tires from Tirerack, but haven't bought any wheels from them. I bought the Enkeis that I currently have from a smaller online shop and got a good deal but I can't remember what company it was.
