Hey SF, long time lurker and just decided to sign up.... LOL j/k

Anyways, decided to call on you big boys for some suggestions from the experts.

What color tie goes with:

Grey Suit
White Shirt

Black shoes & belt

I know. I know! This combination is probably the most neutral combination and will go with anything

It's for a wedding. I'm just a guest. I thought this would be easy. I bought a black tie, but now I'm having 2nd thoughts.

I want to wear a tie that should make a solemn and dignified impression, but at the same time I want to wear something that the bridesmaids will like...so I won't mind having some fun with the tie

Help me pick out a color of the tie and pocket square!!!!

I agree with a textured tie. Otherwise it may be too bland. I'm for a Burgundy grenadine. Or some grenadine. Not a trendy slim one with a three piece.

Yes, There are like 4 more weddings that I will be attending in the next 2 months

Not really, maybe $100?, but maybe more if it's well worth it

If that is you in the suit jacket, it's too small, and the body type is too big for a 2.5" tie.

It will let the tie bar shine
& gives u freedom to generate visual interest with the pocket square since the shirt is plain.
