New line by Marc Jacobs. How are the polos? How are the quality and cut for the price (about US$25)?

More importantly, where can I get some?

fit is awesome for the price, prolly fits better than lacoste or RL. the line has been going on for bout 2 years now i think. the quality is quite good but is inferior compared to lacoste or RL.

fit is real good, slim compared to most brands save my Ballantyne polos.

I am also very interested in these. Marc Jacobs for $25, how can I not be. Where is the easiest place to get these in NYC or even better, online?

I went to the MJ store today looking for the polos, but was very disappointed when they told me the Stinky Rat line is still not in stores. The associate told me that it'd be a couple more months before they'll carry it.

That's very strange to hear. I've seen them there every time I've been in, for the past couple of years. I think it was about a month ago that I picked up two more polos. This is the L.A. store on melrose that you're speaking of, correct? Maybe they sold what they had.

I believe the word you're looking for is scrofulous.

Odd name, though. I guess, like Acne or Cheap Monday, the idea is to attract attention through reverse psychology.

You have to get the stinky rat stuff when it pops up because it disappears quickly. I bought a couple stinky rat polos in the boston store when they were in last month... now they're gone. they're great though: great fit, nice buttons, etc., a really good value, especially since a polo shirt from j. crew is actually *more* expensive at $40.

No one bought the Stinky Rat stuff that was in the DC Barney's co-op's last fall. At sale, time, stuff was like $10. Khaki shirts, crewneck sweaters, and polos. Fit seemed nice, quality seemed fine, colors were basic but interesting. I don't know how I feel about having the logo on pieces other than the polos, though.

Between the mag mentions and the styleforum/superfuture buzz, I imagine the stcok'll go quicker if Barney's gets more.
