I promised myself i would stop getting shoes on the lighter side, i just don't have the wardrobe for it. My adventures with AE have killed the snuff suede infatuation for me, all i can think of now is potatoes. Please don't take my comments are disparaging, it's simply my aversion.

I'm sure people feel the same way about dark brown suede, which is the version i really want. I will have to order this one myself though, which considering the less expensive Shanklin price, MTO does not seem so bad. Now i just need to get comfortable with the idea of the 202 last, how does it compare to the AE 5 last toe shape...

Almost the same in my opinion.

I love Carmina's dark brown suede, I find it very versatile in the winter months.

Comparing AE suede to EG suede is not event he same league as one other. The quality of leather, depth of color, nap, etc are all vastly different.

I have handed a few EG coffee suede makeups personally and the color is incredibly deep and rich in person. I certainly would not categorize it as a lighter side for sure. That to me would be oyster, mushroom, etc.

I think those MTO Westminsters are mine although I haven't gotten an email yet. Maybe somebody else thought of the identical makeup.

Would be a great Early Christmas present if they are mine!!!
Great looking shoes, Congrats!!!

Guys, wanted to ask you. How are you feeling about the new pictures we're posting? We have a softer light now and a more controlled environment. Might look like they are more worked over but it's actually the contrary, the softer light makes the shoes look better (IMO).

How are you guys feeling the black versus "store" background?

I like the new stuff - looks more "real" if that makes sense.

I think the pics look great. They look great on IG, too.

I would say whichever setup provides more accurate pictures, as far as color is concerned.

Personally, all of your setups render beautiful pictures IMO. I am enjoying your softer light pics though, they make the sharp shoe lines pop more, instead of the usual high gloss/reflection pics. Although, i do like the blurred store background more for some reason. Makes it seem more real, instead of staged...

Agree about the photos. My only gripe is that I'd love to see a top down view to get a feel for the toe shape. Example: Bonafe monkey boot. Not sure if it'll look weird from above if say I'm wearing it with denim.

Or perhaps one of you can wear the shoes to show how it matches with a nice pair of trousers?

Lighting is great.
