Would be great if we can get to 6 before the price increase. Though 3% isn't much. Oh the life of a mendicant shoe addict.

I am 90% in as well. Just want to hear all of the details.

@lauferwhat deets are you thinking? Can we do some sort of rubber sole? Dainite (double or 500), Tomir or victory? Leather sole is not a deal breaker but I do prefer rubber as it rains a lot where I'm from.

Guys, I decided to order that Polo Brown Suede boot on Soller last, I am not 100% about the fit so If they do not fit me I will send them back and then I would be very much interested in Chukka on Rain last in Polo Brown suede. I will be very flexible on soles.

. Yeah, I am not sure about sizing either or I may have jumped on the soller boot as well. I am a 7.5 in rain and was under the impression that I should size down a half size for soller but a few people have said not to do that for a boot. They don't have a 7.5 but they do have a 7. In any event, I especially like the five eyelet chukka as opposed to three.

Received these on Monday, but didn't have the time to post them earlier. Huge thanks to Jo and Fernando for making this GMTO possible and to Alexander and Gabriel for sizing advice and answering a whole bunch of questions. The 804 last turned out to be a great choice. This has been my first experience with both Skoab and Bonafè and I'm really happy with the result.

Thanks! According to Skoab's website the 804 fits similar to Rain, but I can't comment on that, because I don't have any experiences with that last.

I do, however, have a pair of Carmina oxfords on the Forest last in UK 8.5 and I took the same size for the Bonafès and I'd say the fit is very similar, but it's not easy to compare a boot to an oxford. When in doubt, just contact the guys from Skoab - their sizing advice was very helpful to me.

I like their shoes and have a number of pairs, however I am staring to wonder about their advertising of a "small number of artisans" making their shoes... Skoak will be the 4th online retailer offering them for sale, I wonder what their production numbers are?

A year or two ago and I forget where I got it from, but they supposedly made between 1500 and 1700 pairs a year based on what I had read or had been told.

I think they said about 25 pairs a week. Very small operation, although the premises are quite roomy.

Ah, so my info may be a bit high. Still the point being is that they don't make that many shoes in a given year. Anyway now I remember where I heard it. I heard it from the SA from Leather Soul when purchasing one of my pair of SCs

Currently proposed is a GMTO with the following specs:
5-eyelet chukka in rain last (style no. 905)
Polo brown suede
Flat welt

I suggested for some sort of rubber sole like Tomir, Victory, Dainite, double Dainite or Dainite 500. Not a deal breaker but this is my preference as it rains a lot where I'm from. Any preference?
