Looking at making my first order from the guys soon. The Carmina Cognac PTB on the Detroit last, sent an email just before regarding sizing. I'm an 8.5UK in the Simpson and Oscar Last, found the rain last gave me too much heel slip in 8.5UK. If anyone else could way in that would be great. Also wear 8.5UK F in the Church's Cowes, 8UK in C&J Tetbury's(348 last I believe) I had some 8.5UK F Trickers' Stow but they're too short.

I have the Cognac PTC on Detroit, and got in 8.5 UK as I wear the same in the Simpson last. I find it wearable and all, but I should have gone down half a size. I read somewhere else that its best to size down half a size with cordovan also, because of lasting difficulties.

WE have that make up in brown suede incoming in September (without medallion).

Leaves, great minds think alike. :) Will it be on the Rain last? Also, dark brown? Do you have a picture? I would be interested regardless of medallion.

Thx.

Rain last, without medallion. Dark brown suede with contrast stitching. No picture, this is a unique model for us, it has never been made up before.

Sounds fantastic. I should say I am likely in -- just want to see the contrast stitching.

Edit.

Bonafé model Modified 3751, upper: Plum Museum Calf, shaft: Black Grain, 946 last, Chained Norvegese.

I'd like to simplify the design options to create a versatile boot that is equally at home in the office and the weekend - a homage/ update of the Alden SF boot in some ways:

KEEP
Bonafé model Modified 3751
Upper: Plum Museum Calf
Medallion
946 last

CHANGE:
Shaft: Plum Grain (vs. black grain)

CONSIDER:
1. Plain toe vs. Cap
2. Chained Norvegese in a color that blends in with the welt vs. contrast

I know there's a bunch of MTO ideas going one right now, but I wanted to see if I can squeeze one in for a Bonafe adelaide in chestnut / mid brown calf on the rounded 804 last similar to this model I found by Bestetti:

I know there was 1 more member interested and if we can get 1 more we can avoid the MTO extra fee and the inevitable price increases coming up.

I'd also love to do a re-run of the austerity brogue on the 946 but not in museum calf, but a deep burgundy (Plum?). As of this moment though, I'm more interested in the adelaide.

Hopefully we can grab 1 more member :)

Any details on what that will be? The plum museum derby boot is just outstanding, BTW.  Props to the customer who ordered that one.
from the pictures on their blog, it looks to be the same boot but with grey suede instead of black

Ah thanks Leaves. Nice to know. I think I'd probably want the medallion but nice to know I have the option. Might have to MTO this alone or maybe Enzo if they can do it.

Amazing transaction. I am a customer for life. I admit I was nervous about ordering boots from out of the county (US). My concerns were quickly alleviated.

Thanks guys

@leaves what to order next?

Thank you, I think it's the first order to that state if I'm not mistaken.
3 weekdays + weekend from Stockholm to my office on the east coast of the US. Fantastic shipping speed and customer service. Thanks again Skoaktiebolaget!

id possibly be interested in that style but would need to see some examples of the chestnut / brown colour that would be used.
