If by real, you are referring to that stuff from the ship which sank long time ago with almost limitless supplies of hide, I do not think so.
Although I find the up charge for Russian Raindeer very high so it would be best if @Leaves would confirm what kind of Russian Raindeer it is.

Yeah, between the Hoves and the two Dovers, one of them will probably have to go... I got too greedy and now I have to unload.

Those look fantastic. Agree with NAMOR, love the color. I always wondered how you would wear these since I think a cap toe could be more formal but with the stitching it seems like you can't wear them with anything besides chinos, jeans, and maybe corduroy/moleskin.

I have the Hove and Rosewood Dovers but still want's a pair of doak Dovers? And you want to unload? *Does not compute*

And while the Frankenstich works perfectly with jeans, moles, corduroy and chinos I think gents in the marked for this makeup has their share of approriate footwear for more formal attire 😉

Yeah, well rosewood dover and hatchgrain hove and doak Dover would make sense. Hatchgrain hove and mahogany cc dover seem pretty close. Plus my hoves have a slight heel slip so we'll see if the dovers are better or not.

I don't know, I wouldn't think it would be a problem but I think I went on the worst kind of bender from 2 to 30 shoes in the past year and now it's the morning after hangover...

Sounds like a UK 6/6.5 US7 trade thread is in order!

Unfortunately they do not deliver on Saturday, tracking says "Deliver Weekday." Took a day off, stuck at home for nothing.

youre a good man - taking a day off to receive a pair of shoe fing02[1].gif

just imagine the feeling of when they finally arrive. itll be 5 minutes of hyperfocus, elevated heatbeat, etc; like sex but all you need is to take off shoes

Yeah, that was kind of my thought after ordering the Dover and not going for the Hoves. I thought they looked fantastic, but I was also thinking it would be a bit much of the same thing. Good luck with your final decision.

Nice, mine just got finished and should be on the way soon. Ordered at the same time as the Mahogany CC GMTO icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif.

I believe it is imitation Russian Leather and not the original 1786 leather they had been recovering from the Metta Cattherina wreck off the coast of Cornwall. Last year when I commissioned a briefcase made from the leather by Simon, we had a difficult time sourcing the stuff as the diver who was recovering it had retired and the remaining hides that had been recovered were all purchased by Cleverley.
