does Carmina even have access to museum calf?

I don't know. If not I'm assuming they'd have access to Haas Tannery, the same tannery that provides Vass with their museum calf

I saw a heavy stitch shoe and asked if there was a boot option. Gabriel knew about the model and was very helpful in suggesting the 500 sole.

Thanks to both of you, a bunch more of us now get to enjoy this terrific design. Cheers.

Posted this in another affiliate thread - Anybody have an interest in doing this make-up?

Robert or Forest last is preferred. Think ahead to spring/summer :)

Vass gets it from Haas?If Im not mistaken they get it from a different tannery.

Maybe you're thinking of Ilcea. They filed for bankruptcy last year. Haas is indeed the new supplier to Vass as well as other shoemakers.

You are both correct. The main supplier of museum calf to Vass nowadays is the French tannery Haas (also main supplier for e.g. John Lobb Paris since over a year back of museum calf), but some of Vass's museum comes from Italian tannery Zonta, and one color from another Italian supplier: Bonaudo.

Classic choice. Great first Galway. I am leaning the same for myself.
