Just picked these up in Hawaii at Levis Ala Moana, 1915 model

Any comments on the style, and how these will age? Is this one of the widest models amongst classic Levis?

Whats the best way to get these shrunk to size?

Does anyone know where the US factory is, and I imagine these are Cones mill denim?

Thanks

For the record, this is how I went about the washing/shrinking of raw denim.

1. I placed hot water in a bucket (60 degrees celcius), thats hot to touch temperature. I left them in there for an hour. The water at the end was browny yellowish (starch?).

2, I then did a cold machine wash inside out. Lots of blue came out, and the jeans if touched wet would stain your hands.

3. Let them dry in the winter sun.

The waist shrank as expected 2", and the inner pocket shrank in length by half!!

The Jeans are now perfect, and I`ll wash them when they get very dirty inside out in a cold wash cycle - I guess once or twice a year as I`ve got quite a few Jeans on cycle.

I would say an inch or so. Less than expected. But I did get the longer of two 38" available as I like thick double turn ups.
