I do a lot of miles in my shoes. In fact, I walk an hour and a half in total each day in them! It is kind of odd wearing a suit with Asics as I see people do, instead I wear these which some may consider a complete abomination. Admittedly they are pretty ugly. I love being able to feel the ground with a really thin sole though and they are ridiculously comfortable. It's like walking to work in slippers!
I guess smart moccasins might be just as comfortable and look a lot better. If you guys care about comfortable shoes, what do you recommend for a noob that has an emphasis on comfort but doesn't look like monkey vomit? Unfortunately, based in London, I can't try Allen Edmunds to my knowledge and won't buy them without trying on a pair first. My current dress shoes largely go unworn because they are so uncomfortable!
