The new line look extremely promising, amazing elegant shapes.

Whut? StC uses machines on their outsoles? I really wish there was a meta shoe thread on SF, with detailed info on make and materials.

At 2.45 you can see how they attach outsole

Those are awfully nice. They will be my next victims. I can't wait when the new 'English last' is developed. May I ask whether Antonio can make some minor adjustment if I send the full measurements of my feet?

Any idea when the classic lasts will be available?

the first prototypes should be done
in about two weeks
he is trying two methods
of welting and handstitching
the waist
then he has to decide with
method is aestheically superior
when the first prototypes
are completed
he will then check to see
if there is still refinement to be done
on the finishing of the work.

i expect it to be ready
towards the end of april

but these lasts
are only to be used on his new
top of the range line
which is his take on
the top level rtw
such as deco
top drawer
prestige
st crispins
etc

Most people on SF people do not care about the material or the construction; they care only about the last and the painting.

I wouldn't know if it is 'most' but I think many active members of the forum probably do care about things like this, indeed it's one of the reasons that they are here rather than reddit menswear etc. Threads like this one play a part in helping to educate members further which is one of the major purposes of SF - or should be - but there is still a big gap for many people in what they know and care about and what they can afford. But unlike the generous postings by people who are prepared to share the details of the construction of handmade shoes and other items, I don't think this kind of patronizing and dismissive generalization helps anyone.

I honestly don't mind to pay the premium if he is going to charge under £1000 per pair, Especially if he can produce the shoes quicker than the famous names. Just to note Deco and EG top drawer are totally different animal to prestige and st cripins. the former's leather and sole are much better polished, the latter has very good construction but not as refine.

My AM loafers are on the plane for delivery, just in time for spring.
This model is based on a Kiton Old Whiskey loafer from several seasons back
Antonio is such a pleasure to work with.
Have a pair of boots in line next....

Too much p0rn for me, I'm having a melt down! :bounce2: Seriously though, thanks for sharing this. Although some of these styles are really over the top for my personal taste there are several models here that are simply sublime.

That is one gorgeous loafer! Do you mind sharing how much you paid for those and how much time it took?

Sorry your second question madrid - timing is very quick turnaround -- maybe 5 weeks max seemed even quicker on this pair ...
