I sent a pair of EG shoes back to their Northhampton factory for resoling. At the instructions of Sky Valet, I sent the shoes directly to the factory itself in Northhampton. I left a note in the box with directions for what I wanted, as well as my phone #, email address, return address, and credit card information. It's been about three weeks and I have not heard anything back at this point. I know it can take about eight weeks to get the shoes back. Should I be concerned that they haven't contacted me?

I've emailed the Burlington Arcade store, but have yet to receive a response. I'm not sure the factory has a published phone number, but I'll check.

Or a postal worker is walking his route, wearing your shoes, with your credit card number in his pocket.

The factory phone number: 01604 460666

The factory e-mail: [email protected]

One of the things I wish they would improve is their customer communication.

They do not acknowledge receipt of shoes for re-making at the factory, though your tracker should show that they got the box. The next you will hear is when the re-made shoes are returned. The wait will be more like twelve weeks than eight unless you are very lucky.
