I thought about wearing burgundy with it. These are the two I have, I don't think either would go well with that shirt.

You would be better with a small foulard print or paisley tie that compliments the color
Strpes of the shirt.

If you really prefer a stripe, get a bar stripe that gives you more contrast.

Your current choice is weak

I would go with a solid purple, that is darker than the purple on the shirt.

Btw ..where is the Thomas Pink shirt made?

That's definitely not burgundy. At least not in those photos. It's really red.

I say when dealing with similar colours, it is better for the tie to be a few shades darker. As the purple is the dominant colour for the tie, the stripes isn't really going to help that much.

I agree with this too. There's just too much pattern there that needs to be muted.

Try a dark Blue or Burgundy Grenadine.




Yellow Grenadine just may work too...



Lavender is another option but darker than this one....
