It's just the shape of the suit. Almost all RTW suits do the same to me. It may be because you've got a muscular build, and so your shoulders/traps aren't fitting properly into the sleeve space. It may just be the shape of your shoulders and back that doesn't quite fit into the suit. It could also be a poorly made suit, although I've had this same problem with some Tom Ford suits, and all RLBL suits.

Muscular build !!! You have sloped shoulder and the suit shoulder is quite high for your build type.. RLBL has high arm hole. Anyone with sloped shoulder will have the same problem with RLBL.

I don't think it's too big. I think it's just the shoulder expression/armhole shape not working for him.

If anything the suit is too small in the chest and under the arms creating that sort of dimple across the breast.

It happens. Trying to get an absolutely perfect fit on the shoulders on an RTW suit is damn near impossible.

I actually tried a shorter version of the same suit and it looked and felt absolutely confortable. This is the regular one.

It is RTW.

There is always a compromise depending upon cut and the wearer. Too bad.

I've also had this problem. Loathing has it correct in that it's not that the suit too big, it's that the shape of the sleevehead isn't accounting for the change in shape of the armhole when you're wearing the suit. This is common when a suit is close fitting. It's fixable; it's just a matter of reshaping the sleevehead. But you need a good tailor who can do that without messing it up and you have to be pretty clear to him/her as to what needs to be done. If you google shoulder dimpling, then you should find some websites and threads that discuss this in more detail.
