I have to draft a short bio and CV to post to my company's website in response to my promotion (I'll also have to go to some photographer's home/studio to get a matching photo).
I don't have much to write...I have to pick some practice areas that I specialize in from a list although I am not sure where most of the work I do even fits.
The CV is going to be embarrassingly short...since instead of working off a handful of degrees and a list of lofty publications and previous industry experience, I mostly move forward simply by being awesome. It is literally only going to contain my BA and my time spent at this company...maybe I will throw in the year I spent as an intern at the federal reserve which I suppose is also related professional experience.

I have a meeting this Sunday from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., and I can't get out of it. Thus, I'll miss the NCAA games on Sunday. :fu: :fu: :fu:

Get the app that allows you to watch games on your smartphone. Excuse yourself for frequent "bathroom breaks" due to "food poisoning."

We'll be interviewing folks, so I'll have to be discreet . I think the most I'll be able to do is keep up with the scores.

My mom. She pisses me off. She refuses to listen to what she is told and continues to do what she thinks is correct. Why?!?!

She lives across the pond, and yesterday we spoke on the phone. On a few previous occasions she mentioned she has a friend coming to NYC and she asked me if I want her to send me anything with her. I said no, many times. I specifically made it clear that I dont even want that person contacting me and I definitely don't want to meet her. During yesterdays conversation she again asked me if I want something, and also mentioned she thought about sending me a birthday resent with her, but decided that she will just mail it later. I also said that I rather her mailing it closer to my birthday.

She just called me telling me she gave the lady my info and is sending some things with her, and I will need to meet her while I she is in NYC....

I know this may sound petty, but knowing the person involved, it is extremely infuriating and I am very very annoyed. I am seriously considering cutting off communications for a month or two...
