We did not have a micro wave as those were for the rich people working the line at Chrysler or GM. My mother also did not add milk or butter to Kraft Mac&Cheese as that was too expensive and just sprinkled the orange stuff over the boiled noodles.

Hot pockets, good in theory not in practice. I found them to either remain frozen for an eternity then immediately go to nuclear hot that would burn the roof of your mouth.

This thread has made me want to eat a Stromboli and it is only 10am.

My Canadian friends all say Kraft Dinner when they mean Kraft Mac and Cheese. (I used to have a fiancee who was Canadian so don't anyone tell me I don't know what I'm talking about I do.)

Uh-oh, I think I might have to cue up some Lee Greenwood to get you into the mood of America. Those patients are straight up "in the hospital."

My wife says Kraft dinner, but much of her family is from Maine, so it's kind of the same.

I must say I am skeptical now (have doubt) of the veracity (truth value) of your claim to have had a fiancee from the country of Canada (where I'm from.) I say this as I tossed you a very prominent Canadian idiom (staring a sentence with "I'm sorry" when there was no need to be sorry) and you did not pick up on it.

One thing my fiancee did not say very often was "I'm sorry."

I'm slightly hungover and craving a pound of brisket, animal style fries, and horchata.

But I don't want to make three separate pit stops frown.gif.

It pisses me off that Toblerone doesn't make those specks of honey nougat in their chocolates into its own product line. They're better than the chocolate itself, imo.

Betimes I did not have a microwave and would eat Hot Pockets still frozen. You have to gnaw a bit to make a start. But it makes you consume them more slowly, which helps with portion control.
