My innards are so messed up. All of this week I have been bloating up like crazy and getting pains in my stomach and expelling these minute long farts. Then when I have to **** just like a little **** ball will come out and then more farts, then another little **** ball. I am in the bathroom like 6 times a day, farting **** balling. It is horrible. ****** is raw.

Also, I have this huge painful lump on my neck. My girlfriend said that it is a severely ingrown hair from shaving. It hurts like a mother ****** and it is right on the collar band of my shirt. I don't know if I should go to the dermatologist or what. It is like Guado growing out of the side of my neck. Ugh.

Taken on their own, the symptoms in the first post don't point to it, but, after the second post, the diagnosis is clear. You have GRID.

This. Many smaller charities have surprisingly low standards for board members. Volunteer for a few projects, chat up the board members, join the board, and voila, you have group experience. If you're really ambitious volunteer for one of the ****** officer jobs that no one wants - treasurer or secretary.

any tips on how to actually do this/where I would find organizations like this? figure I'll get on this earlier rather than later.

You need to tell people you are an expert in transparency and corporate governance models.

Seriously, getting on a non-profit board in the GTA area cannot be more than an afternoon's effort. And your family are ballers from a baller part of TO, no? I can't believe you don't have a connect. Also, as you are a baller, use the usual baller way to get on a board: write them a big fat cheque.

Go to a strip club. No other place in the country has strip clubs like Houston.

I went to one about 15 or so years ago. Was at a company that had been bought out and new head office was there so they flew us all in for indocrination. The guy that owned the company that was just bought, pockets full of cash from the sale, took me and a couple of other guys out in a limo from the hotel and I did not know where we were going. Scotch and cigars were good too...but then again, it's all good when someone else is paying.

I'm firmly convinced that there is a god, because NO natural turn of events would so negatively influence my life. There HAS TO BE someone upstairs, directly affecting the outcomes in my life in such ****** ways. The big man upstairs gets no end of pleasure ******* with me.

Just a general observation here: I find people sort of get out of life what they expect to. I've seen so many patients with similar conditions and one has a great attitude and the other a negative one. Invariably the happy person is happy with their care and the negative person is not. I think we all tend to sort of self fulfill our general outlook in life. Not trying to be New Age or Oprah here, I don't think if wish for a a diamond necklace really hard the "universe" will get you one (The Secret or some such ****?), but I do think people tend to view the events that befall them in this random universe as being positive or negative based on their general outlook.

Oh, the guy in my group who does the least amount of work (read: nothing) came over to me to divy up his work load for the end of the week. I felt like laughing in his face, but you know, teamwork and all of that nonsense.

WTF, is GRID?

I hear this question far too often in people who've gotten their diagnosis. It really makes me sad to know that you could have prevented it if only you knew what steps to take. The good news is that it's very treatable, and you can likely have a near-normal lifespan. We've made vast improvements in treatment since GRID was discovered a few decades ago.

Just be glad it's not GRID managment training. I would be advising you to RUN, RUN YOUR ASS OFF! Easily the single worse thing ever inflicted on my in my professional life.

Too true. Way more manageable than IBD, but I suspect it goes undiagnosed more than Aspbergers in the 70's...
