Scraped the hell out of my shin playing softball today, was running into third and the bag wasn't secure to the ground and *whomp* fell over. Our field sucks, too many rocks to slide.

And we ended up getting mercy-ruled :embar:

It was fun overall though, haven't played ball in many years. 2-3 for me and no errors :nodding:

It's finals week, so I've been giving lots of exams. Sometimes students come up to me and ask me questions about the questions. They don't want to disturb the other students, and so they put their faces too close to my face when they talk. The breath of these students is often bad. Because they talk softly, I don't hear them and they have to repeat their questions. Needless to say, their breath hasn't improved in the intervening three seconds.

It is a marvel how some college kids are so reliant on mommy and daddy that they cease the ability to care for their hygiene after moving out, isn't it?

BONUS: Retransmission-consent disputes between over-the-air network affiliated stations and pay TV providers. Yes, I remember last month's 4 day fiasco between DirecTV and Tribune. Didn't complain about that. But lot's of DirecTV subscribers who's CW stations owned by Tribune (like WPIX in NYC, KTLA in Los Angeles, or WDCW in Washington, DC) missed the series finale of One Tree Hill. This law is 20 years old and was passed before satellite and telco came out and before digital replaced analog. It's a growing problem, and in this economy!
