I wish Smythson would hurry up and make a case for this phone. I picked up an Incipio case for it over the weekend. Very similar to what a Magpul case would be but also includes a screen shield. Seems to cover up everything but leave it usable. It just has boring styling.

Anyone ordered an extra Lightning like me? It came in in the morning and I think I will just return and use the funds for a case instead. I figure the Lightning that came with the iPhone I will just carry with me at all times though I did forget it this morning to the office :fu:

50% battery life, let's see what it is at end of day.

I haven't got an extra cable yet but will be picking one up as I don't think I will remember to carry one back and forth all the time. Usually, I like to stream internet radio when I'm in the office. Today, without listening to any music and I'm at 50% battery. I don't think I'd last the day without an extra cable.

Is there a car lighter adapter yet? I found if I'm in my vehicle on BT it drains my Samsung and that has better battery life than a iPhone.

There are lots of people making slipcases on etsy. I definitely want a leather case for conservative business dress type where, right now I'm looking at eyeglass cases.

Let me know if you find anything decent...this seems like the only viable option as I want to just use the phone naked.

Casecrown looks decent as well for simplicity sake

This one was also cool from another link posted...FWIW I really like the color. Not sure if I would use the inventory in the back for my CC's...

Isn't tethering an extra charge? Isn't it kind of crappy and expensive?

Some plans, they do charge extra. What I was saying is the new "Shared Plans" don't charge you extra. It's included.

LTE tethering works fast. It should provide you a broadband like experience on the road.

I think the biggest shortcoming of Siri is having to physically press buttons to engage in a question. If my hands are already on my phone I am just so much more likely to do whatever I need by myself. I think it would be cool if you can just address her and she knows your voice and it wakes your phone. A lot more useful, imo.

My understanding is Siri is activated with the button you press on most wired and wireless handsets to activate voice dialing. If you have ever used that feature, you know how it could then be applied to Siri.

It should also work this way with most handsfree bluetooth systems built into cars.

There are already hundreds of car lighter adapters with USB ports. I actually prefer those over the ones with the apple cord built in. They allow you to charge any device that can be done so over USB. Just get one of those that looks nice from a brand you trust. Make sure it says "iPad" compatible too as those take a little more juice then the phones.

A search via Amazon with "USB Car Cigarette Lighter" or "USB iPhone Car Cigarette Lighter" will find you what you need. :)

No worries. I'll keep track of my time as we go and send out invoices at the end of the month.

That's true on Verizon, not AT&T. Verizon was compelled to offer free LTE tethering by the FCC according to the terms of their lease of the wireless spectrum that they use for LTE. AT&T and the other carriers were not bound by those restrictions because they use different frequencies for LTE.

Yikes, I am screwed.

Re: cases - probably going to be going w/ a bumper case, myself. Don't much care about the back scratching, just want to keep things as small as possible while adding a bit of protection in the event of drops (and also a little more grip).
