I am thinking of purchasing a 1972 mercedes 280 sel 4.5
it was in the process of being restored and the guy that was getting the car done never paid up so its in the shop. it is fully painted, has all the parts, has a re-machined head (that is not bolted on) no windows (not installed) etc. it is pretty much an assembly job because theres about 5-6 boxes with parts. I don't have a garage but i really would like to get this going so if anyone has a garage and a passion for old mercs id be willing to work on it every weekend over some brews and pizza on me if anyone is interested
