The pic is not very good... Looks short on the sides, medium on top. With the top being slicked back with moose and a light-medium hold hair spay.

looks tapered, it looks like as far as guards go a 4 on the higher section of the head, tapered down to maybe a 2. On top, that's roughly ~3.5 inches. I won't touch mousse (moose) personally, you could probably get better results than that picture with a light hold pomade.

there are much better things for your dollar than american crew, but experiment with what product works for you.

I can do that kind of thing naturally with my hair, but I have an obnoxious amount of volume, if you want to maintain something like that just blow dry the **** out of your hair while pushing it back with a brush.
