I had this after a week, they were unwearable it was so loud. They admitted it was a problem and changed the pair. The new ones do it ever so slightly but less noticeable.
Anyone who have had their meermins for a few months notice creaking/squaking sounds when walking?
Both my hiro captoe and olfe mto squak and lets down my perception of their quality

Not yet but I've only worn mine 4 times. They are still a bit tight on the crease where the leather is still softening up but no creaking so far. All I've been doing is putting a coat of renovateur on after each wear so far. I have a pair of C&J that do this but I suspect it's due to an imperfect fit and that I have to use a thin insole in them.

I have to check what color I asked for the soles. The shoe is burgundy and brown, so we'll see what the finished product looks like.
I will wear with trousers and whatever else looks good with them when I get them. If I wanted a plain Oundle, I would have gotten EG. I have enough traditional SF shoes.
