I received my 8.5UK monks based on a recommendation of sizing on a tracing of both my best fitting shoe and actual foot. Unfortunately, the suggestions were off and it looks like I am more along the lines of a 8UK. Will most likely be shipping these monks back

Contact Sandro or Pepe, my shoes will be here tmrw (4 days after being ordered) I bet the turnaround is quick.

Now you can order your second pair and receive them both at once.

Thought I´d report back on Meermin´s customer service.

The rubber/toppy/Dainite on the oxford´s I picked up 5 months ago was coming off. The Madrid shop sent it to the factory for repair. A few days later, they called to say they would give me a brand new pair because they didn´t think the repair would be good enough. I now have a new pair with a better, softer dainite-like strip on the bottom.

Bottom line: I´m very happy with their level of customer service. So much that I picked up a pair of double-monks.

Customer service from Meermin has been exceeded my expectations throughout my entire process of ordering from them. Pepe has responded to all of my emails, providing information and guidance.

I only hope that they can continue this torrid pace as their brand gets more well-known. I hope those of us who are getting in on the ground floor may be in luck. I often think about Nore's posts about his pricing with AS.

I think I'm about to start the ordering process. Do they offer a wider Linea Maestro selection than the six pairs of Oxfords posted on their website without having to go MTO, or does the site list everything?

There are some on their Tumblr. If you see a interesting pair on there then just mail them and ask if they are part of their RTW line.

Meermin Linea Maestros. Dark brown MTO bluchers with softly burnished cap toes. Built on the Hiro last.

After I wear them around for a few weeks, I'll write a full review of them at Put This On. In the meantime, I thought I'd post some of the photos I took tonight.
