Why do the homunculi get offended, lash out, and call everybody fat? Do the you realize that there are tons of people that have 6-packs that wear larger sizes due to things such as muscles and/or bones; or are you just an angry, little man?

The guy's going under the name "Auntflabby", so it would seem safe to assume he is, well, flabby.

Would you also find it safe to assume that he's an Aunt as well by that logic?

Angry yes, but not that little. You try finding a decent 36 or 38 suit and you'd be angry too. But perhaps I was too hard on Flabby. I may have taken his (or her) statement the wrong way. Flabmeister, my apologies.

This may shock you, but even non-homunculi (good one, BTW) wear size 36. I am 6'0", 158 lbs, 39" chest, 33" waist actual measurements. I try on jeans labeled 32 waist, and they're usually too big. The label does not reflect the actual measurements. Same thing happens with suits. Depends on the brand, but overall, most suit coats run large. Zegna is pretty spot on, but Brooks Bros runs large. My best fitting blazer is a Brooks Bros size 36 (with the sleeves lengthened).

I don't even consider myself that thin. There are several guys on my soccer team thinner and with lower body fat than me. I have no idea what they do for clothing. Some of them are pretty happy to wear sweats most of the time, which I am starting to think is the way to go.

So I bought the 38s sport coat and its still available. Its 70% wool 30% cashmere and retailed around 1800. This is the last thing I have left so If your interested PM me quickly. Attached is an image of how it looks IMAG0165.jpg 2120k .jpg file

I'll try not to contribute to the ridiculous argument about whether size 36s are emaciated or just not obese, but one thing I can say for certain is that, over here, every single remotely high-end brand goes down to size 36, though the smaller sizes tend to sell out quickly. It is only the cheap brands that don't make anything below 38. It may be different in America; whether that's due to the people being fatter or not I'll leave as an exercise for the reader...

It is more difficult in North America. But while 36R might be more common in the UK at mid-level places, 36s are a crapshoot, as ever. Somewhere like TM Lewin will do half their suits in it, while Ede will only do a 36R. Another problem is stores and websites that don't always make them available, even if they're manufactured. For example, I was at a Hackett sample sale recently and they had several jackets in 34 / 34s. Who knew? They do sell out very quickly, and so it's a bit more expensive to be a smaller size because you can't really rely on it being there at Brooks when the sale times arrive.
