I know these say 'Crocs' but, who thinks they are a decent alternative to DBs?

those are ugly, if you want to spend $20 why not go for Merona? those can be had really cheap from Target or wherever right?

I rubbed in 2 thick layers at room temperature, like super thick, then heated with a blow dryer to melt as much as possible into the nap. Then while it was still warm I rubbed into the seams and stuff then let them cool. I did the other pair. I repeated. Then wore them a few days, did another layer. I've done it about 3 or 4 times now so probably like 4-6 layers.

I'm just going to keep stuffing them with beeswax until they have a more even color (you can't tell it's uneven from the pic, a bit splotchy in places) and then keep wearing them. When they get dirt or scuffed or indigo rub off it blends in to a nice dark, also the creases on the toe box are nice and dark and crinkly. they aren't bad, I think what really saves them though is the contrast stitching and laces because they obviously don't darken like the leather.

Is there any place that sells Clarks Desert Boots in a E width? I have a pair of Ds and feel that sizing down 1/2 size and going E width will be a better fit.

That works. Also be sure to spray them with suede protector before wearing them.

I don't have a suede cleaner. I just brushed them away with a rag.

Yeah, I should apply that, but I'm afraid the suede protector will change the texture of the suede.

I got some water spots (beer actually) on my beeswax dbs. Is there anything I can do? I have some leather protector but I didn't apply it because I didn't want to darken them. Should I just put it on now and hope the darkening evens out the spots a little?

I'm pretty sure they don't make desert boots in an E width.

Hey guys,
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good online store with ample stock of the wolf suede DBs? I've looked around a bunch and can't find anyone who stocks these in a 13.
Thanks.

What do you put on the suede desert boots to protect them? I have a pair of suede taupe and want to wear them this summer.
