FYI- I am now only going to accept orders through my Etsy shop.

This is primarily because it is much easier to keep track of orders and ship through there, where I accept paypal and credit cards. If you have any questions about items, please send me a PM here if you wish. Thanks!

Handmade Leather Belts
All belts are hand cut, dyed, stitched, edged, and burnished by yours truly. I'm currently using ~9 oz premium veg tanned leather from one of the oldest tanneries in Europe. It is thick, but particularly supple! I've steadily been improving the leather that I use for my belts, and this is definitely the nicest so far. All belts, except those made with clipped corner, or garrison buckles, will have a hand-stitched keeper that is a custom fit for each belt. My keepers hold the belt snug so it doesn't bulge out in front when buckled. Turn around time on the belts is about one week due to time spent dyeing and oiling. Delays can occur if I am working on several orders at once. PM me if you have any questions. Thanks!

There are many ways to customize your belt!
You have the choice of the following points (see photo above):
1. clipped
2. square
3. slant
4. round
5. English

And the colors (top to bottom):
1. natural (ages to British tan and eventually to chocolate)
2. oxblood
3. British tan
4. chocolate
5. black
Plus olive green

Available buckles:
Standard roller buckles - 1.5", 1.25" - brass, nickel, and pewter

Clipped corner buckles - 1.5" - antique brass, nickel, antique nickel, pewter

Quick release
- 1.5" - antique nickel

Heel bar - 1.5" - brass

Oval - 1" and 0.75" - brass and nickel

Square Roller - 1", 1.25", and 1.5" - brass and stainless steel
1000

Stitching colors:
natural, dark brown, or black

Belt lengths:

All belts are custom length. To measure length, follow the guide in the photo below (this length will be to the third hole). OR, measure your actual waist under the belt loops of a pair of jeans you are wearing.

Price:
All belts are $68 Shipped First Class worldwide - Paypal only
Because these are all custom length, I cannot accept returns unless I made a mistake on the order.

Can't decide what color belt to get? I can make you two belts to go with one buckle, all held together with Chicago screws for easy swapping. $115 shipped

HOW TO ORDER:

I'll be out of town for work and on vacation much of the next few weeks, so I won't be available to make anything during that time. I'll post in here when I'm back. Current orders will be sent in the next few days. Thanks, everyone!

OK, I am back in town and can take orders again. Please keep in mind that there are several people waiting to place orders, so turn around time could be up to a couple weeks for a belt and a week of everything else.

I've also decided to keep two pricing tiers- $85 shipped for new belts or buckles that cost me extra, and $68 shipped for all other belts. See the first post to figure out which belts are included in the categories.

Are you still making these belts zissou? Any sample of the olive green? And do you do like a dip-dye dark navy?

I'm actually working on an olive belt as I type. I'll be sure to take some photos tomorrow. I also just ordered navy blue dye two days ago. So, keep an eye out....

Here are a couple photos of the olive and navy. I tried to make the navy sample fairly mottled so you could see the gradation in the color.

Just got my order of a Chocolate (Brown) Belt, Card Case #3 in Natural, and Key Chain #2 (VW Fob Style) in Natural and I was blown away by the quality of each. I would recommend Zissou's products to anyone.

BONUS - If you own any of the Oak Street Boots/Oxfords in Brown Horween Chromexcel leather the Brown/Chocolate color he uses is a dead-on match.
Thanks again Zissou!

Next to each buckle name, it will have the available widths. You'd probably want a square roller in 1.25" if you're looking for more of a dress belt.

^Glad you like 'em Samir :)

I've switched to new roller buckles, available in brass, nickel, and pewter colors, all in 1.25" and 1.5".

Here's a natural belt I made after about a year of wear and a couple oilings:
